Tens of thousands of people, including members of the local Jewish community, marched in South Africa’s capital city Cape Town to protest against Israel’s barbaric onslaught against Gaza. The protesters urged the South African government to boycott Israel and to expel the Israeli ambassador from the country.
A number of prominent public figures, including Nobel laureate Archbishop Desmond Tutu, anti-apartheid crusader Ahmed Katharda and Nelson Mandela’s grandson, Mandla Mandela, participated in the rally.
